The research highlights the critical role of mathematics in academic success and the cascading effect
of early difficulties in math on later academic performance. It aims to investigate the challenges
faced by middle school students in Egypt in mastering mathematical concepts and proposes
solutions to enhance their proficiency and overall academic achievement. The study utilizes various
data collection methods to gain insights into the behavioural, psychological, and academic aspects
of math learning, with the goal of developing targeted interventions to support students and
improve learning outcomes.
