Furthermore, potassium sorbate is a kind of bacteriostatic antiseptic agent that is frequently employed in the food sector and has been utilized extensively as an efficient chemical preservative against yeasts and molds. Despite the fact that this substance is widely accepted as safe for use in food additives, research has indicated a possible connection between attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in children and excessive SB intake.
