This research evaluates these advantages and limitations using qualitative and quantitative data
gathered from teachers and students to assess how social media impacts mathematics learning
outcomes. The results indicate that, while social media can be a valuable complement to
traditional teaching, its effectiveness depends on careful planning, strong moderation, and
strategies aimed at reducing distractions and promoting equity. Based on these findings, the
study offers practical recommendations for leveraging social media in mathematics education.
Ultimately, it advocates for a balanced approach that maximizes the benefits of social media
while addressing its challenges to create more inclusive and effective learning experiences
